—About The Speakeasy Room—

~ The Private Speakeasy Room is Located on the Second Floor Directly Above the Restaurant. It is Accessed through the Rear of the Restautant by way of a Seventeen Step Staircase with Brass Handrails on Both Sides. (There is no Elevator Access)
The Speakeasy Room has its own Private Bar and Private Restrooms.
Its Original Brick Walls are Adorned with Photographs of Celebrities who have Visited the Iconic Tavern Over the Years. The Room Features an Original Tin Ceiling, Accentuated by a Grand Skylight and the Original Rosewood Bar. The Rooms Gracious French Doors Open onto a Juliette Balcony Overlooking Treelined East Eighteenth Street.


Sit Down Meal ~ Hosts up to 40 Guests Utilizing Three Straight Lines of Tables, and 30 Guests in a U-shape Configuration

Buffet ~ Maximum Capacity of 45 Guests with Casual seating for a Maximum of 30 Seated Guests at a Time

Our Sit Down Dinner and Buffet Menus Include Three Hours of Complimentary Draft Beer and House Wine Selections. Any Additional Spirits, Select Wines and Beers are Charged Based on Consumption.
Payment for these Items can be Made on an Individual Basis or the Host can Run a Tab and Have it Added to the Main Invoice.

A Full Bar and Bartender are Available on Request


~ Our Minimum Guest Count and/or Minimum Spend Varies According to Times and Dates Requested. All Minimums will be determined by the Banquet Manager.
~ All Events are for a Maximum Duration of 3 Hours, with Departure Times Strictly Enforced. ~ 8.875% Sales Tax and 20% Gratuity will be added to all Event Invoices.
A 20% Non-Refundable Deposit is Required at the Time of Booking.
~ A Final Confirmation ofGuest Count Must be Provided Four Days Prior to the Event,Hosts will be Charged for the Number of People Confirmed, Plus any Additional Guests
~ No Event Shall be Booked or Confirmed without Receipt of the Aforementioned Deposit and a Signed Contract.
